Notes
Wealthy people are students and excellent listeners, broke people think they know everything - they are not teachable
Consider your teachability index - How teachable are you?
- on a scale of 1-10 what is your willingness to learn information about wealth creation?
- on a scale of 1-10 what is your willingness to accept change?
If you want thing to change, you have to change
0 * 10 = 0 (you have to have to high teachability index)
Successful people (especially concerning wealth) have a high teachability index.
Also consider the training balance scale - on one side lies motivation or dreams (why you do things) and on the other side lies the technique, action, and skill (the actual doing, the physical)
One side contains dreams, vision, goals, attitude, and enthusiasm (functions mostly in your head by what you think and feel)
The other side concerns what you actually do and this is the work and the physical
Some people will overdose on one side, focusing on techniques, but avoiding the work that must be done. 90% is the why, but 10% is the work and it is very crucial.
Successful people say they're gonna do it, they don't make any excuses or let any circumstances phase them. Successful people don't know how at first but they don't care because they have an enduring belief that “if i start, it will all work out”.
The how will come with discipline, diligence, persistence, continuous learning, being teachable, and respecting the rights of others.
The thought process is usually more important than the how because it is the underlying foundation.
There are four phases in learning - unconscious incompetence, conscious incompetence, conscious competence, unconscious competence
As successful beings, we make a conscious effort to apply these principles, if I choose not to apply these principles, I cannot obtain the results I desire.
To increase the likelihood of success, I will need to have a definitive and a specific purpose that is clearly defined (goal, dream) -
Successful people are goal oriented (definitive aim is key)
diversification comes later (attention is not spread amongst projects) - comment? narrow in scope so you can put all focus to achieve that goal
The Law of Success in 16 Lessons - Napoleon Hill
It is critical to outline a definitive purpose (clearly defined dream) and have a burning desire for its achievement (an obsession) with limitless focus. Apply it with your mind
The Strangest Secret - Earl Nightingale
You become what you think about.
You become what your primary dominant thoughts are, law of attraction
These traits exist among all humans, its how you respond (channel these thoughts and emotions towards a greater purpose)
- good feelings and bad feelings
- good thoughts and bad thoughts
The better you feel, the more focused you are.
Emotional guidance system to recharge your thoughts - wait a minute i'm not thinking properly, focus on your objective, lower that objective to something you
can get aligned with to feel good about yourself
Leaders are always readers
5 years from now - people you meet and books you read will form you
reread your books
listen to tapes, listen to information on cds or some time of audio about success motivation attitude and regularity is very important it needs to be constant development
replace the way you have been thinking with something else - daily
i train my mind and train it everyday
successful people are always attending seminars, experiential event with like minded people - the experiences you have that change you

the work is really the thought process, not as much the physical doing
to them they never call it work, do what you love, every successful does not work they put their hours into something useful
understand work - put in the time, must make sure you are lined up, doing something you love to create spectatular results

easiest way are through tax savings and insurance savings and reduce your debts and payment interest fees
one way is investing in real estate (maybe a few years down the line for me maybe)
maybe investing in stocks or equities a portion of the income, also trading in stocks (difference between investing and trading)

they work... if you work them
you have to start changing and listening to your recordings over and over again
